Time: 30-40 min.
Scenery: Rocky ground, sparse plant life, burnt pine tree remains as well as natural reforestation. Cultivated land, below.

 

Mesta -Olympi

 
Location: Southern region of Chios
Trail type: A hike on a flat trail.
Distance 2.046 m.
Time: Approximately 1 hour
Scenery: Olive and mastic trees, bushy and green plant life is evident above as well as across the fields. Staircases of old steps parallel to the ground, which descend across the slope of the hills.
 

The Kambia Ravine

 
Location: Northern region of Chios
Trail type: A hike along a ravine.
Distance: 2.679 m.
Time: Approximately 1.5 hrs.
Scenery: Rich forest and hydrophilous vegetation; water runs practically all year round. Citrus fruits are found near the mouth of the ravine.
 

The Apolihnon Castle

 
Location: Southern region of Chios
Trail type: A hike on a mountainous trail.
Distance: 1.073 m.
Time: Approximately 30-45 min.
Scenery: A plain with olive trees and mastic trees on the lower end, wooded area with pine trees higher up and rocky ground at the peak.

Scenery: Rocky ground with shrubs.

Scenery: Infertile landscape typical of Amanis with low vegetation, grass and oak.
