The village of
Parparia, built in a 300m altitude, lies at the west part of the mount Amani perimeter road, just after the village of Pirama and 13 km from
Volissos.
There are traditional cafenia (cafes), where food and local mezedes are served. On the top of the mountain that lies over the village there is an area called Panagia Pagousena where is also situated the natural spring of Pagousena that produces a high quality water. Zanakounda is the nearest beach to the village of Parparia where there is also the church of Agios
Isidoros.
