Agios Isidoros

One of the most pictuersque beaches of Chios island is Agios Isidoros or Paragli as the locals call it. On the road to the maritime villages of Sykiada and Lagada, you reach it from a crossroads after Pantoukeios bay.

A popular beach bar operates on the beach, offering a vairety of amenities (sunbeds, shades, coffee, snacks and creative cocktails) and organising parties with DJs. The easiest way to get there is by car. Swimming there can be combined with a visit to the villages of Sykiada and Lagada or eating out at one of the famous fish taverns at Pantoukeios, Sykiada and or course the picturesque seaside village of Lagada.

Agios Isidoros chapel has given the name to the beach. It is a favourite choice for weddings, as it is one of the most beautiful spots of the island.
